Third party candidates did better than in recent history, but not as well as expected: Johnson about 3%, Stein about 1%, and None of These Candidates about 2.6% in Nevada, where Greens were kept off the ballot and angry Sanders supporters felt they were cheated at the state’s Democratic convention.

Sanders on Trump: “To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him…. To the degree that he pursues racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-environment policies, we will vigorously oppose him.”   Many down-ballot “Our Revolution” candidates win their elections.

Trump’s win, like Brexit, was a referendum on neo-liberalism writes Naomi Klein.

Trump campaigned for diplomacy and against intervention, so why are defense industry stocks soaring after the election?
