Sessions calls Justice Department investigations into policing in Ferguson and Chicago “pretty anecdotal”. “Summing up multi-year investigations as “anecdotal” goes far beyond willful ignorance into dangerously-smug territory.”

Sessions told Congress he had no contacts with Russian officials during election campaign, but Justice Department officials say that’s not true. “One of the meetings was a private conversation between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak that took place in September in the senator’s office, at the height of what U.S. intelligence officials say was a Russian cyber campaign to upend the U.S. presidential race.” Sessions also reportedly spoke with Kislyak at a Heritage Foundation event in July, during the Republican National Convention.

Mexican cement multinational reportedly says it would be happy to bid on Trump’s wall. “”We will gladly do it,” Cemex President Rogelio Zambrano told the newspaper, when asked if the company would provide a cement estimate for the controversial project, potentially worth billions of dollars.”

European intelligence agencies reportedly informed U.S. of contacts between Trump associates and Russian officials and Putin associates in Europe. “As WikiLeaks was pushing out emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee through online publication, American intelligence began picking up conversations in which Russian officials were discussing contacts with Trump associates, and European allies were starting to pass along information about people close to Mr. Trump meeting with Russians in the Netherlands, Britain and other countries.”

Education secretary DeVos claims black colleges a good example of “school choice”. “(Historically black colleges and universities) were established because black students were prohibited from attending public colleges and universities throughout much of the United States’s history.”
