Facial recognition researchers are collecting photos using cameras installed in public places. “(A Stanford facial image database) was called Brainwash, after a San Francisco cafe of the same name, where the researchers tapped into a camera. Asylum seekers sent back to Mexico to await their hearing were kidnapped by gang. “In July, I learned from an immigration lawyer in California that a distraught client had called to report that her sister, a Salvadoran woman, with a 14-year-old, 10-year-old, and 3-year-old, were kidnapped in Juárez.
